I’ve written a training log I can access through this site and log my daily workouts. As I log my runs, the mileage I’ve run gets totaled up. That worked for the month of January since that was the first month I started using my log. Now that I”m into a new month I’m going to have to create a little more logic behind the scenes, shouldn’t be too hard but after spending all day in front of a computer it isn’t the first thing I want to do when I come home.
Speaking of runs and daily workouts, this winter has become rough! I’ve resorted to running all of my runs on the treadmill, but that is barely tolerable. Yesterday I put in 9 miles on the treadmill, but I had to do it as 3 x 3 miles, stopping for a minute or two to get a drink between each 3 mile segment. I once ran 13 miles straight on a treadmill, but now I don’t know how I ever did that!
