Box 500, Halifax, NS B3J 2S1 Local Calls: Free: Fax: A Supplier means either a pharmacy licensed under the Pharmacy Act, which has confirmed the agreement with the tariff between the Minister and the Pharmaceutical Association of Nova Scotia and which has been designated as a supplier or in a class of suppliers; a supplier of drugs, equipment or services that is not authorized as a pharmacy under the Pharmacies Act but is a supplier or, in a class of suppliers, a pharmacy licensed under the Pharmacies Act, that has entered into a tariff agreement with the Minister and that has been designated as a supplier or in a class of suppliers New applications non-pharmacists are not considered for approval of the designation. Existing non-pharmacist providers remain designated unless the administrator is informed that he is unsubscribing from a non-pharmacy provider. Pharmacy providers must be licensed with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists. CLOSURE OR TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF THE PHARMACY As set out in the collective agreement between the Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Welfare, it is your responsibility to notify our office within 30 days prior to the transfer/closure if your pharmacy closes or changes ownership.
